Apparently the last typewriter factory in the world, Godrej and Boyce in India, is closing its doors after over half a century of typewriter production. This piece of news comes at a pretty ironic time considering Pao and I are in the market for one! I've been looking for a cheap, antique, working typewriter to aid in our latest hair brained project (details to follow). Better get on it! Stay tuned...

Lollapalooza is lighting it up this year for their 20th anniversary! The lineup was released today and it is stacked! The headliners in general are ridic, which is going to create some seriously tough decisions come schedule time. Main stage headliners are Foo Fighters, Eminem, Muse, and Coldplay, with Perry's headliners being Girl Talk, Pretty Lights and Kid Cudi. Want to see them all! Other sweet acts we're pumped about include Deadmau5, Crystal Castles, Sleigh Bells, Foster the People, Cage the Elephant, Lissie and The Cars. Seriously cannot wait until August to rock out the best weekend of the year!

First big holiday away from the fam while in Cali. Obvi had to make it feel like home, so we cooked up some favorites from our traditional Naples Easter meal. Hope you all enjoyed your Easter Sunday!

Had another fabulous weekend of visitors! Our college besties, Kacy and Whitney, came to visit! We kick-started the party Thursday night with Angelo and Dilo rolling through LA on their trip back to Ohio. A combination of too much excitement, very little dinner, and way too many Jameson shots led to an [un]forgettable evening! We managed to have a great Friday as well! Went on a hike, got manis/pedis, did a little shopping, had a yummy Italian dinner, then rocked out all night again. Hit the beach all day Saturday for some much needed relaxation and fresh, sunny air. Great weekend with great friends!

We were lucky to be able to celebrate Big Sister's birthday with her this past weekend! She continues to get prettier with age.  Not to mention smarter and funnier. We hope to be just like her :))

30 minute meal.

Here is another delicious and healthy meal you can create from Trader Joe's. Laur made us this stir-fry using TJ's organic brown rice, red peppers, broccoli, peas, carrots and chicken sausage in the TJ's yummy Soyaki sauce. It was made in 30 minutes for about $20. We enjoyed with edamame!

The TOMS Shoes business model is simple. For every pair of shoes they sell, they donate a new pair of shoes to a child in need. Tomorrow is their 4th annual One Day Without Shoes event. It challenges people worldwide to go barefoot for the day to bring awareness to the millions of people who go without shoes each day. Last year, 250,000 people participated! I probably won't be able to go barefoot all day, but I'll make sure to wear my TOMS!
