rude boy.
Dammmn girl. Rihanna is rocking some spray-on shorts on the new cover of Rolling Stone magazine. In the article she explains her decision to lift the restraining order she had against Chris Brown:
"That's my decision…it doesn't mean we're getting married tomorrow. It doesn't mean we're gonna be in a relationship, or make up, or even talk ever again. It just means I didn't want to object to the judge…What he did to me was a personal thing. It had nothing to do with his career. Saying [he can't perform at awards show] definitely made it difficult for him. We don't have to talk again ever in my life. I just didn't want to make it more difficult for him professionally."
Being the bigger and better person, check. Way to go RiRi!

lookin' good, prince.
Prince Harry is looking dapper on the May cover of British GQ. Harry and the Walking with the Wounded team are getting ready to make their trip to the North Pole in an attempt to raise money for charities supporting wounded British servicemen. They have only been given a 40-60% chance of succeeding through this 250 mile treacherous journey. This sounds pretty intense.
Best of luck boys!

a good new day.
Today will be full of signs and affirmations that you are on the right path. Even if you feel unsure about the next steps, it's all part of the process. Doubting yourself is absolutely normal, it gives you the healthy skepticism to recognize a solid thing when you see it.

mademoiselle.
Blake Lively looks stunning in the new ad campaign for Chanel's Mademoiselle handbag line. Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel's head designer and creative director, hand-chose Lively saying she was "kind of an American dream girl", and shot the images himself. Love the classic look Chanel always upholds.

the crazy robertson.
I had the pleasure of seeing 'The Crazy Robertson' on my way to work this morning. He's a 50-something homeless man who disco dances up and down Roberton Blvd. on roller skates in awesomely 80's spandex costumes. Some locals have created an entire brand on him...
"People don't understand, Jermien chooses to live like he does. He embraces street life. We take care of him any way we can. He owns part of the company, but a lot of times he doesn't want cash, so we get him roller skates, clothes, food,"
I love this guy! Hope to make this a regular sighting on my morning commute!

harvard and stone.
Ventured into the new East Hollywood industrial hot spot, Harvard and Stone this past weekend. This semi-hidden rustic watering hole is located on Hollywood Blvd. and is so-called named after its intersection of Harvard and its stone exterior. The prohibition era atmosphere is dimly lit by incandescent lighting and distressed rusted walls. We danced to old school hits while enjoying our drinks. The friendly bartenders feature a different spirit every month. March is Gin!

pace.
Our parents are in town which means we get to be spoiled for the weekend :) We went to Pace, an Italian restaurant up in Laurel Canyon, for dinner last night! Super cute, comfy atmosphere, yummy homemade pastas and cool artsy decor. We were glad we ordered the chocolate souffle before our meal, as our waiter recommended. It was the perfect ending to our already delicioso meal!
Peace and Love.

Today we experienced for the first time one of LA's treasures- The Getty Center. The views are spectacular, the gardens alone are worth the trip and the art includes many masterpieces from the greatest painters in history. The architecture is unbelievable and even the tram ride is fun!
